The Treatment
What Is Beard Enhancement?
Beard Enhancement uses the same precision micropigmentation technique as SMP — applied specifically to the beard area. The result is the appearance of fuller, more evenly distributed beard hair, a cleaner defined line, or coverage of scars and gaps that interrupt the beard's natural pattern.
This is not the same as Facial Micropigmentation, which creates the appearance of follicles on a bare face. Beard Enhancement is for men who already have beard hair but want to address specific gaps, improve density, or sharpen the definition of their existing beard line.
The treatment is calibrated entirely to your natural beard — matching pigment to your hair color, following the natural direction of growth, and filling only where filling serves the overall look.

Step by Step
The Process
Free Consultation
Dame maps your beard pattern, identifies the specific zones to be addressed, and matches pigment to your hair color and skin tone. You see the plan before any work begins.
Session One — Gap Fill and Foundation
Dame works through the treatment areas, placing pigment dots in the gaps and along the defined beard line. The session establishes the foundation of the enhancement. Approximately 2 hours.
Session Two — Density and Refinement
After 10–14 days of healing, session two increases density in targeted zones and refines the overall result. By this session, the enhancement is close to its finished appearance.
Session Three — Final Detail (if needed)
Depending on the scope of the enhancement and how the skin has held the pigment, a third session may be recommended to bring the result to its final state.
What to Expect
Results & Longevity
After the healing window, the enhanced beard area blends naturally with your existing hair. In most cases the treatment is undetectable — even up close.
As with all micropigmentation services, the result is permanent with gradual fading over 4–6 years. A single touch-up session when needed restores the enhancement.
No products. No daily fill-in routine. The beard looks the way it should.
Protecting Your Investment
Aftercare Instructions
- Avoid vigorous exercise and sweating for 5 days post-session
- Do not wash the beard area aggressively for 4–5 days
- Avoid swimming pools, saunas, and steam rooms for 4+ weeks
- No aftershave, cologne, or harsh products on the treatment area during healing
- Shaving over the treated area is fine after the healing period
- Moisturize with unscented lotion after the healing window has passed
