The Treatment
What Is Facial Micropigmentation?
This treatment is similar to our Scalp Micropigmentation services in that it employs ink to mimic the look of hair follicles, but it focuses on facial hair stubble. We can fill in your thin patchy beard to appear fuller or give you the look of a 5 o'clock shadow if you do not have facial hair.
FMP/SMP is the only non-surgical hair loss solution that will give you immediate, guaranteed results.

Step by Step
The Process
Free Consultation
Dame assesses your natural beard pattern, skin tone, and the specific areas you want addressed. You discuss the look you are after — from subtle density to a fully defined beard line — and leave with a clear plan.
Session One — Pattern and Coverage
The first session establishes the base pattern across the treatment area. Pigment is placed to begin filling gaps and defining the beard line. Approximately 2–3 hours.
Session Two — Density and Edge
Scheduled 10–14 days after session one, the second session builds density and refines the outer edge of the beard line. The treatment begins to take its final shape.
Session Three — Final Refinement (if needed)
Some clients require a third session to address specific areas or make fine adjustments. Dame evaluates after session two and advises accordingly.
What to Expect
Results & Longevity
Immediately after each session, the treated area will appear slightly more intense than the final result. Over 7–10 days of healing, the pigment settles into its natural tone.
FMP is permanent and designed to last. As with SMP, some natural fading occurs over 4–6 years — particularly with sun exposure. A single touch-up session restores the work.
No daily grooming products. No filling in. The beard line holds.
Protecting Your Investment
Aftercare Instructions
- Avoid vigorous exercise and sweating for 5 days after each session
- Do not wash the treated area aggressively for 4–5 days
- Avoid swimming pools, saunas, steam rooms, and hot tubs for 4+ weeks
- Protect the treated area from direct sun — sunscreen after healing
- Do not apply aftershave, cologne, or harsh products to the treatment area during healing
- Moisturize with an unscented lotion after the healing window
