What Is Scalp Micropigmentation?
Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) is a permanent hair loss solution with guaranteed natural looking results. SMP is a hair tattoo that replicates the look of your hair follicles. We put thousands of tiny dots of pigment into the scalp to make thinning hair appear fuller, a bald head to appear as a bald fade, or a hairline restoration. It looks like a freshly cut or low-shaved haircut.
SMP is the only non-surgical hair loss solution that will give you immediate, guaranteed results.
Using a specialized micropigmentation device and medical-grade pigment, each dot is calibrated to match the diameter, depth, and spacing of a natural hair follicle. The result holds its integrity across skin tones, across hairline shapes, and across decades of wear.

Step by Step
The Process
Free Consultation
We start with a private consultation — no pressure, no obligation. Dame assesses your scalp, your hair pattern, your goals, and your skin tone. Together you design the hairline and density that fits your face. This conversation sets everything that follows.
Session One — Foundation
The first session establishes the framework. Dame works across the full treatment area, placing initial pigment to begin replicating the appearance of follicles. Session one is approximately 2–3 hours.
Session Two — Density
Spaced 10–14 days after session one, the second session builds upon the healed foundation. Density is increased, edges are refined, and the overall treatment area begins to take its final form.
Session Three — Refinement
The final session — also 10–14 days after session two — completes the work. Fine details are addressed, any uneven areas are corrected, and the result is brought to its finished state. Most clients require no further sessions after this point.
What to Expect
Results & Longevity
Results are visible immediately after each session. The pigment will appear slightly darker for the first few days as the skin heals, then settle into its natural tone.
SMP is designed to be permanent. Over 4–6 years, pigment may fade slightly — a natural response to sun exposure and skin cell turnover. When that happens, a single touch-up session restores the work fully.
There is no ongoing maintenance product. No daily routine. The treatment holds.
Protecting Your Investment
Aftercare Instructions
- Avoid vigorous exercise and sweating for 5 days after each session
- Do not shampoo the scalp for 4–5 days post-session
- Stay out of swimming pools, saunas, steam rooms, and hot tubs for a minimum of 4 weeks
- Avoid direct sun exposure on the treated area — wear a hat outdoors
- Do not apply any topical products to the scalp unless instructed
- Moisturize daily after the healing window has passed (unscented lotion)
